Sensor Flexibility

Flying Indoors
Our highly skilled drone pilots have flown in some spectacular indoor locations including Formula 1 Paddocks, The Globe Theatre and listed buildings dating back to 1230. Indoor locations are not subject to any airspace restrictions. Visit our project page to view some of our indoor projects.
Multiple Teams and Global Experience
Based in London with a network of teams across the UK. We operate globally in Europe and have worked across South America, North America and Africa to date.
Flight Time
The DJI Inspire 3 can fly for around 20 minutes, we always ensure we have a large supply of batteries so with a power source on shoot we can film all day and night. Our Heavy lift platforms can offer 30 minute flight times carrying broadcast quality cameras such as the Panasonic GH5.
Permissions
Just one of our benefits is that we carry an additional permission from the CAA to film after hours, we have a 10m OSC allowing us to operate in congested area’s and to 600ft.
Live Streaming
The Drone Company has the facility to broadcast live footage from up to 1000m using our custom wireless downlink. We are able to do so in full HD (1080p/i) with less than 1ms latency. We have offered this service to large outdoor events and even the London Olympic Stadium.

Risk Assessment
Prior to and upon arriving at location our drone team’s will complete a comprehensive risk assessment to ensure the safety of your crew, observers and the general public.

Our purpose built heavy lift Vulcan UAV is designed to support payloads of up to 8kg and can carry industry leading brushless gimbal systems. Utilising our video downlink system the pilot, camera operator and director all have their own monitors on the ground to view the footage in real time, ensuring exact shot framing.
The Drone Company are professional, creditable drone operators in London having completed a number of filming projects and we offer our clients a quick turnaround on gaining necessary permissions. We also have permission granted from the CAA to operate at night if required. Our pilots are CAA licensed and we have public liability insurance up to £10 million as standard.
